Software Developer

Candidate must be a permanent resident of Canada and eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities include:
  • Development, testing, maintenance, debugging, and enhancement of existing software
  • Design and development of new applications in C++ for Windows using MFC
Education:
  • Post secondary degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of OOP concepts
  • Minimum 5 years experience with object oriented programming languages (VC++, .NET, Java)
  • Experience with FORTRAN (Microsoft FORTRAN PowerStation) and/or Mixed-Language Programming would be an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of 3D/2D graphics, OpenGL, OpenInventor experience an asset
  • Strong mathematical skills, physics background useful

Post-Doctoral Fellow

We have an opening for a recent PhD (5 years) who must either be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada who is interested in an NSERC Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowship. If accepted by the company and NSERC, the fellowship is for (2) years. However, the company's policy is to offer permanent employment after the fellowship to suitable candidates.


Responsibilities include:
  • Applied mathematical and physics research
  • In areas of geophysics, data processing, GPS and mapping
Education:
  • PhD in mathematics, physics or electrical engineering
Eligibility:
  • must be either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
  • be eligible for an NSERC Postdoctoral Industrial Fellowship

Geophysicist (entry-level)

Candidate must be a permanent resident of Canada and eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities include:
  • Geophysical field work
  • Geophysical data interpretation and processing - non-seismic data
  • Client support for our software products
Education:
  • Post secondary degree in Geophysics. Master's degree preferred
Required Skills:
  • Geophysical field experience
  • Strong understanding of either EM or Gravity data
  • Strong mathematical skills, physics background useful
